I am a Philip T. Church Postdoc Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Syracuse University. My research is in the area of Applied Mathematics with main focus on Numerical Analysis/ Partial Differential Equations (PDEs)/Scientific Computing. My work reflects an interplay of rigorous mathematical analysis of PDEs, the estimate and development of numerical methods, and their applications to physics and engineering.

In particular, I am interested in and have worked on the following aspacts of this field: PDEs on singular spaces, finite element methods, generalized finite element methods, multigrid methods, and mathematical models and computation in physics and in elastography of medical imaging. I obtained my B.S. in School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University, China, 2002. I graduated in 2008 with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, under the supervision of Prof. Victor Nistor and Prof. Ludmil Zikatanov at the Department of Mathematics, Penn State University.
